The Study of Religion in Five Acts: A Proposal

One of the principal requirements for last semester's methodology seminar was the formulation and construction of a syllabus for an undergraduate theory course of our own. It was a surprisingly rigorous assignment (I have a greatly increased respect for all you professors out there!), but ultimately I was pretty pleased with my efforts.
